I usually look forward to the awards shows, but the Emmy Awards last night sucked. I was horrified by the hosts for the show, pictured above, who made for the most painful opening I have ever seen on television. It even beat the Snow White, Merv Griffin, and Rob Lowe Oscar number for an all-time low. I hope that they hire a producer next year that can give the show a complete rework because one can not salute the best of television with the worst of television. If you have never seen the horrific Snow White Oscar opening number, you can watch it below. But I warn you, it is really bad. Rob Lowe comes in around the 4 minute mark, and sings (if you can call it that) shortly thereafter.
