Thousands of recruitment leaflets delivered in Bolton

Bolton British National Party activists were joined on Sunday by members from Salford to deliver thousands of ‘We Can Restore Order’ leaflets in the aftermath of the area’s race riots.

Despite a heavy downpour, upbeat Bolton Organiser Dorothy Sayers led the team of activists through the town’s Tonge with the Haulgh ward, where she has stood as a candidate in recent elections.
Salford Organiser Gary Tumulty reported: ‘At least 2,500 British National Party leaflets were pushed out right across the ward in a short amount of time. The general feeling in the air is that there is a lot of support out there. Passers-by on the busy main road also stopped to ask us for leaflets and agreed that we are the only party to restore peace and order on the streets of the UK.’
Before Dorothy and other activists went out on the streets, her disabled husband and Bolton branch secretary Andy Sayers fulfilled the vital role of folding the anti-riot leaflets and putting We Want Our Country Back and ReferendumNOW leaflets inside them to create thousands of leaflet superpacks.
Dot Sayers said: ‘Following Nick's plea about being active this weekend, I ordered 4,000 leaflets on Saturday afternoon, and they were delivered to us the next day by Chris from Burnley. Andy then started folding them straight away while I was trying to organise some help for leafleting.
‘Thanks to Kevin, who put out the plea for us, and Gary and Ed from Salford, who responded and came to help. We also had help from Darren, who is a very valued member of our group in Bolton. It was a very good day, and people were asking us for leaflets as we were posting them. The response was fantastic, and people were agreeing with everything we were saying.
‘Hopefully, this leaflet will open people's eyes to the fact that Nick Griffin and the British National Party have been right all along. A big thank you to everyone who helped. It is very much appreciated.’
