Yesterday, my mother was transferred from Elkhart General Hospital to a nursing home in Wakarusa. Miller's Merry Manor is located about 2 miles from my childhood home and is where both my grandparents died. My mom will be going through some intense physical therapy for the next few weeks to rejuvenate her knee and back.Today, however, is a special day for my mom and dad, as they celebrate their 49th wedding anniversary at Miller's Merry Manor. Having spent some time at the Manor, visiting my grandparents, I can safely say that there is nothing Merry about it. Happy Anniversary!
