A big group of my friends went to see Ennio Marchetto's show at Arena Stage tonight. He can best be described as a living cartoon, using paper costumes to create over 60 characters in 70 minutes. Apparently, he has been doing this for over 20 years after the idea of dressing as Marilyn Monroe for Venice Carnival came to him one night as he slept. It was a cute show and the paper costumes were incredibly clever, but by watching the clip below, you pretty much see the entire show.
