On 20th March in Bolton’s Victoria Square, thousands of people responded to a Unite
Against Fascism call to demonstrate against the English Defence League (EDL). The EDL
is a racist and fascist organisation linked to the fascist British National Party.

Following the demonstration, justice4bolton was launched on 8th June in the House of
Commons with MP’s Jeremy Corbyn and Peter Hain.
This Bolton launch is for you -whether you are anti-fascists, members of Trade Unions,
members of our Faith communities or simply Bolton people who are concerned about what
happened on Saturday 20th March 2010. Anti-EDL protesters were arrested (Muslims
included), some have been charged. The police investigation is ongoing. There could be
other arrests and charges in the coming months. justice4bolton offers support and
solidarity to those arrested and charged and to those under threat of arrest.
